Goldwasser Institute

We are very excited about starting our new Goldwasser Institute coaching program. It will be a 12 week program with an emphasis on the first set of materials that we have created. My goal with this company is to create material that will be easily implementable and will help build a foundation for anyone to move to the highest level in their life. In order to become the most effective business you have to start building from the ground up. All of the tools that are available from Goldwasser Institute are the foundations that I built Goldwasser Real Estate upon. Starting with my attitutde, my commitment, and then moving on to the exact systems and scripts that have allowed us to grow. Over the course of our 12 week program I will go over in depth what you will need to do to make the best use of our CD programs. The program will begin April 2nd, 2008 at 10:30am-11:15am CST and we will have a 45 minute call every 2 weeks. I will be giving a 20-25 minute talk and then opening things up for question for 20-25 minutes. At the end of the call there will be specific assignments that must be completed prior to the next call. I only want the most committed and open minded people to be involved that really want to change their lives. In Austin today we broke a temperature record, it was 92 degrees! There is no doubt why this place is such a popular destination. Great weather, great scenery, good job growth, low unemployment and incredible people. I have no doubt that our real estate market will continue to thrive and prices will stay strong. Networking is a huge key to your success. It is said it is not what you know but who you know! Well, it is a little bit of both, but knowing the right people can absolutely open doors for you. One of my best friends, Thom Singer, has written 2 excellent books on the power of building an extensive network. Check out his his blog at http://www.thomsinger.blogspot.com/ to find out more about his books, Some Assembly Required and The ABC’s of networking, they are both very powerful and extremely informative. He is a master of networking skills and he has taught me a lot. His books have helped me to realize how important it is to spread your word about who you are to the public. Over the course of the past 3 days my network has allowed me to raise over $20,000 in sponsorships for our 5th annual Rock and Restock concert. Make sure that as you are meeting people that you step out and ask them about how you can help them, and do not think of them interms of what they can do for you. Be engaging, have a warm and friendly smile, ask them questions and really actively listen to what they are saying so that you can make a solid connection, and then follow up with them. I write personal notes on a daily basis and make consistent phone calls to the database of people that I know and who know me, it has really allowed me to grow and expand my business. The people that know you that respect you, that you keep in regular contact with, will send you business. Make sure to keep in mind the power of your network and your networking skills. Be positive, be outgoing, meet people, listen actively, keep a swmile on your face and make sure that you are connecting with people, IT WILL CREATE OPPORTUNITIES!

5 years ago we created Rock and Restock. The idea was to get all of our past clients back together so we could thank them for doing business with us, all the while fulfilling my passion for music by putting on a concert and also giving back to the community by making it a benefit for our Capital Area Food Bank. That year we gave the CAFB $1500. The event has grown and is now open to the public. Last year, our fourth year, we had over 700 people rocking and restocking to Bob Schneider at Stubbs and we gave the CAFB a check for $10,000. As the event has grown so has my vision for what it can be. This year we have secured Stubbs again, we have Bob Schneiders TX Bluegrass Massacre headlining along with Feeding 5000 and Superpal Universe opening the show. WE WILL SELL OUT STUBBS!!! This year will be the stepping stone that will take it to the next level. We will have over 2000 people and that will allow us to donate over $20,000. Within 5 years Rock and Restock will be held at Zilker Park as a sister concert to ACL Fest with a non-profit focus. We will get there by partnering with Capital Sports and Entertainment and other major corporate sponsors. My vision and idea is to “restock” the bank accounts of local charities and then eventually take it to a national level and make it one of the biggest charitable events in the United States, contributing hundreds of millions of dollars to charities in need. I will only be able to accomplish this by partnering with great people willing to give there time to a great cause. We are partnering this year with several local businesses and will spotlight those awesome people in this blog. Our Major sponsor this year is going to be Jimmy John’s and one of their local owners Matt Brane. I met him a week ago and he is the real deal. He is a 28 year old kid with more passion and energy than I, and he is the perfect partner to help us move in step with our future vision for Rock and Restock! As we move forward and post on this blog, I want to make sure that the information covered here is worth your time. If you have any thoughts or suggestions on topics that you want me to cover or reserarch please let me know. I am a first time blogger and I don’t want to bore you with all of the interesting facts and stories of my life, I want to share with you thoughts and ideas that can help us to reach the next level in our lives. I am not a genius by any means, but I have had opportunity to build a solid team and learn a lot about what it takes to become a “successful” business owner. 10 years ago working behind the bar of Trudy’s restaurant I would have never dreamed Goldwasser Real Estate would be where it is today within our industry. It has been a really fun experience so far and as we have built it their have been a lot of trials and challenges, but also many triumphs. As we build our new company Goldwasser Institute, we are sure to meet with a lot of opportunities for growth and change, your ideas and suggestions on how to make it the best are very welcomed.

I am so excited right now because we are watching our dreams become reality. This company Goldwasser Institute has been a dream of mine for a long time. I sat down on July 26th, 2004 and wrote that by July 26th, 2014 we would be paid $16,500 per engagement to speak, that I would positively impact the lives of millions of people, and that we would electrify audiences worldwide! This company is the vehicle that will allow us to make all of that happen. Last week I had the great opportunity to speak to thousands of Keller Williams agents and I realized that I was going to take my life, and my teaching to a new level.
